Performance Evaluation and Prediction

We present part 1 of “Chapter 22: Performance Evaluation and Prediction” from Trading & Exchanges by Larry Harris. In this chapter, we consider how to measure past performance and how to predict future performance. The two elements are closely related. Most people measure past performance primarily because they want to predict future performance.

We can predict performance better using other information.
